And the friends just keep coming - including 2 distinguished gentlemen!

Last Sunday, July 3 was the first Sunday after Canada Day on July 1, which is celebrated like the 4th of July in the US.  These two distinguished gentlemen, Bros. James and Norm each came wearing their patriotic Canada ties.  I've got to get one of these before we leave!

Sis. Harriet lives about 45 minutes out of town.  When we met her she showed us many of the crafts she makes, included this beaded feather.

At the last Zone Conference in Halifax, Sis. Harkness and Sis. J were intensely discussing a new app for children:  Gospel Kids.  We have it now, it's very good.  Though it's focused on simplified gospel concepts for children, it makes easy reading for some of us adults as well.

We met Sis. Susana at her lovely home on her day off.  We spent nearly an hour with her, showed her a gospel video and Sis. J got a tour of her outdoor flowers, which are just coming into bloom and are really beautiful.  She also has raspberries and blueberries!

After a lovely meal at the home of Sis. Anne and Bro. Kenny, he gives us a mini-concert with one of his several tuned harmonicas.  He plays the traditional Irish folk tunes, and we love that kind of music.

Following the harmonica concert, he pulls out his accordion which has been in his family a long time, but he has only recently acquired it, and is quite adept and playing it, even though he says he is still learning.
