We make new friends almost every day!
One of the best things about being on a mission is the opportunities we have to meet new people and make new friends. It happens almost every day. Whether it's at church, teaching, in the stores or on the street, it's always a delight.
Sister Johnson gets a hug after bringing a small potted geranium to Sis Rhonda and Br Jim, who live waaaay out in the country on a beautiful farm.
Sis. Anne shows Sis Johnson some of her clever craft work, which includes some well-designed and very well crafted carry bags made out of old jeans.
We visit Bro. Murray, who gets around all over town in his electric scooter, and is so friendly he is known by everyone!
Bro. Robert gives us a thumbs-up as we arrive at his home for a meal and missionary discussion. He was the Branch President when we arrived, and was just recently released after 4.5 years of faithful service. He is a great example to us of the love of the Savior and for his fellow men.
So wherever we go, we meet so many nice new people and make friends. It is one of the highlights of our missionary service.
